Warm welcome...
How do you get here?
Have you got any polish roots?
saphire - 13-02-2007, 18:21
Huh, welcome!
I'm going to learn Spanish somewhere it in the future - it "sounds" quite like Polish for us, maybe just little different but very similar so I think that it wouldn't be too hard to learn it. How about that? Is Spanish easy or difficult to learn?
Greetings!

Helo, friends.
Excuse me, too many time with no conection to this forum.
slo_mo and saphire (bombay perhaps:D ?) I get her looking for "mitsubishi forum" in google.
Spanish is complicated... like all the roman languajes (french, Italian, Galician, Catalan, Spanish and Ruman). The reason of that are the verbs. I don´t know haw the verbs go in Polish, but in spanish we have 1 verbal form for each person (I(yo), you(tu), He(el), We(nosotros), You(vosotros), They(ellos)) for example in english
I AM
you, he, we, they ARE
and in spanish
yo SOY
tu ERES
el ES
nosotros SOMOS
vosotros SOYS
ellos SON
too many verbs for the memory.
The phonetic is the same that greek.
X adams12, Gracias, intentaré hablar espańol alguna vez para que tu puedas practicar la traduccion. żEres polaco o ingles?
saphire - 02-05-2007, 12:42
Hi QUINHOS!
Thanks for your explanation - polish is also very very complicated - we learn grammar almost 8 years in school but after that many people still does many errors so I think any other language _MUST_ be easier
The same examle like yours in english and spanish in polish:
I am = Ja jestem
You are = Ty jesteś
Hi,she,it is = On, Ona, Ono jest
We are = My jesteśmy
You are = Wy jesteście
They are = Oni, One są
Polish grammar is very difficult becouse we have many exceptions, rules, declinations, semantics much more then in other slovian languages.
Verbs in polish are also very difficult but I think that I should learn spanish pretty fast becouse I ,,capture'' foreign languages very fast and easy. I've just found spanish language school near my wife's work so I'm going to go there and learn
As a matter of my nick it's a too loooong story why it should be written exactely like ,,saphire'' and not like ,,Sapphire'' and I am not a Hindu I'm a Polish
Thanks for your information ,,el hombre''
APRUEBE tan si usted escribe a veces en español que intentaremos entender eso y contestarlo correctamente. Todos somos polacos.

QUINHOS do you know that we have also Galicja in Poland? Or rather we had - before Ist World War that name had a geographics region in south-east of current territory of Poland - between Kraków and Lwów with Przemyśl in the middle - in the past it was under Osterriche-Hungary jurisdiction but now it is splitted between Poland, Ukrainian.
I am from Przemyśl http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Przemysl%2C_Poland
so I am from Galicia just like You - in Ist WW Przemysl had 3rd of greatest fortress (after Antwerp and Verdun). Look at this information about our Galicja http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galicja
Maybe this year I travell to Spain for my holliday and maybe to Galicia
Cheers!

Hello "gallego".
Yes, I knew Galicia, from Poland. Last summer, here in A Coruńa, I can see a folkloric group from there. They comes here every year, in summer, because we have a Festival of internacional folklore.
It´s fabulous to be from Galicia, both.
Galicia, so far, so near!
It´ll be a good slogan.
