Hello everyone.I'm from Serbia and i have Colt GLXi 1.5 12v ('91) and have problem from yesterday....ECU is dead,burned R101 and D2 (ECU is MD153010 E2T36673,PCB is JE331B993B)everything else looks good - Capacitors(not leek,shortcut),Triac (4 black and 1 green-not shortcuted),PCB is not damaged,only this two elements:
I found somewhere on this forum,R01 is 15 ohm,and D2 is zenner diode 8.4V.Is it right?
This is on circuit 5V ,supply some sensors-air flow sensor,motor position sensor and throttle position sensor.I tested all sensors,and it's OK-not shortcut to ground,references is normal.

What I must change except this two element and (off course)all capacitors?

Yes that's rigth.

If you don't have zenner diode - for test you can replace only capacitors and resistor and run without it - it's only for safety.

PS. Under capacitor located nearest green transistor you must repair PCB - acid form capacitor damaged track - that's why in 5V power supply was over 8.4V, what damaged diode and resistor & you must pray that CPU is alive

Thanks,i will try tomorrow,but my pcb and capacitors (not leak,no acid) is ok.I have 5V on output 13 and 23...still I don't know why is resistor and zenner diode burned??? (pcb is not damaged anywhere) I will change capacitors anyway..... found zenner 8.2V (not SMD) and will tray without her
Today i'm try my Colt with another ECU of my friend (GLXi 1.5 8V) and Colt works,fired
Still looking somewhere for another ECU,but have no luck

Check out metalisation of hole - solder new capacitors on both sides of PCB

I try everything,replace burned resistor and zenner,all capacitors,test all transistor,still have 5V on green transistor,pcb is not damaged anywhere,but nothing happend...ecu is still dead,now looking for another ecu for my Colt - it's seem like a hard work
