Hello @ all!

Inh 2012, I will come again to Wawrzkowizna, but htis time I think I will be there with one of my cars - the 1988 Starion 2.6...

Now I had the idea, because of the knowledge of polnish craftsmanship, to go down with two cars: First my Starion, but this will be on a trailer behind my 1989 Pajero.

I thought it would be a good idea, to drop the Starion after the meeting in a really good bodyshop in the vicinity and let weld the two rear bodysides. And after doing this, to let be painted again in silver.

For this I´m on the search for an excellent bodyshop and an excellent paintshop.

It could last for some days or weeks longer - all I want is a good work done!

The price for that work is no question - I will pay good money, without big bargain.

Here in Germany most bodyshops are specialized on VW, Mercedes and other crap, they do really bad work on old japanese cars and trie to cheat everywhere.

So, if someone of yours know such shops, please let me know, maybe you could arrange contact and supervise the work - I will show my gratitude for it...

Maybe a good option would be DZIKI bristles where he painted the Outlander?
A forum might be able to choose the right project for painting :wink:

That would be the best - after I´ve seen his Outlander I know, that such work has to made in Poland...

I´ve in my company a polnish paint-man, too, but he only paints trucks and trailers. He´s a little bit afraid to ruin my Starion...

my starion's body work and paint job was done near Bielsko-Biala, but this guy said never again.. starion's widebody side panels are so hardly curved and shaped that it makes them difficult to paint and work with...

make sure you will find someone who really love his job

That´s the way it has to look like!

I´ve two original sidepanels from mitsubishi, no second-market-crap from China...

It doesn´t matters how long it takes - for this car only the best is good enough...

It should be done with blood, sweat and tears....
